Learn the why behind the work
Short, practical guides help you read your dog more clearly, make training easier to understand, and know when to change the setup.
Explore the learning libraryRead the whole dog, not one signal.
Body languageTail, ears, mouth, posture, movement, and context work together. One signal rarely tells the entire story.
Build enough calm before adding difficulty.
TrainingA dog can know a skill and still be unable to use it when the environment becomes too difficult.
Use management while you teach.
Daily lifeTraining builds a new skill. Management changes the setup so the old behavior is not rehearsed all day in the meantime.
Kind enough to build trust.
Clear enough to create change.
The True Balance approach
Build trust
Comfort and clarity create the foundation for useful, lasting progress.
Keep it practical
Care should make daily life feel better—not just look good for a moment.

A personal standard of care
Marty is more than part of the story—he is a daily reminder that every dog deserves to be understood as an individual.
With 6+ years of experience working with dogs, Nima brings that same personal attention to grooming, walking, and training. Nima’s approach is observant, practical, and centered on helping dogs feel safe enough to learn, move, and be themselves.
